Are you a Graduate Geologist with a strong interest in Engineering Geology, ground investigation, and contaminated land? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist Engineering Geology consultancy in Manchester, working on technically challenging projects across the built environment and infrastructure sectors.This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop within a highly technical, geology-led consultancy, gaining hands‐on experience in both geo‐environmental and geotechnical disciplines.The Role As a Graduate Geologist, you'll play a key role in delivering ground investigation and engineering geology projects, including:Supporting and producing Phase 1 Desk StudiesAssisting with the design and supervision of Phase 2 Ground InvestigationsSoil and rock logging to current standards (BS5930 / Eurocode 7)On‐site supervision of drilling, trial pitting, and in‐situ testingContributing to a range of technical reports including factual and interpretative reports, contaminated land risk assessments, and remediation strategiesSupporting project delivery and client interactionYou'll be given early responsibility and the chance to get stuck into complex projects, while working within a supportive and experienced team.About You To be considered for this Graduate Geologist (Engineering Geology) role, you should have:A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related Geoscience disciplineA genuine interest in Engineering Geology, ground investigation, and contaminated landStrong attention to detail and report‐writing skillsThe ability to work both independently and within a teamA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sitesThe right to work in the UKPrevious site or consultancy experience (placements or internships) would be beneficial but is not essential.What's on Offer Join a specialist Engineering Geology consultancy with a strong technical reputationWork on a wide range of complex ground engineering projectsStructured training and clear career progressionA collaborative and hands‐on working environmentCalibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
