We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics & Operations Coordinator based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a Permanent part time basis.Summary of the Logistics & Operations Coordinator roleSalary: GBP27,000 - GBP33,000 pro rataLocation: Milton KeynesType of Contract: PermanentHours: 27.5 hours Monday - FridayResponsibilities of theLogistics & Operations CoordinatorPack goods securely and appropriatelySelect suitable packaging materialsPrepare shipments and ensure all items are correctly labelled and documentedBook shipments using courier platformsCompare shipping optionsCoordinate collections and deliveries and track shipments proactively managing delays or issuesPrepare commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping documentationBook in inbound goods accurately and maintain stock accuracyAssist with stock checks and periodic auditsReceive and inspect deliveries and report, document and escalate any damage or discrepanciesPick and prepare orders and update systems with dispatch and tracking informationRequirements for a successful Logistics & Operations CoordinatorStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience in packing, shipping or warehouse operationsFamiliar with courier booking systems and shipment coordinationUnderstanding of export documentationGood organisational and time management skillsConfident using CRM and ExcelAbout Allstaff RecruitmentWe're an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
