What you'll do day to day

Manage and reconcile daily cash, card, and bank transactions

Maintain and balance till accounts with a high level of accuracy

Prepare daily banking and ensure vehicle deposits are processed in a timely manner

Post receipts and payments into the accounting system

Support month-end and year-end cash reconciliations and reporting

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve payment queries

Provide general accounting and administrative support to the wider Finance team

Previous experience in a cashiering or finance-related role is essential

Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential

Strong numerical, reconciliation, and organisational skills

Accurate and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Confident, professional communicator able to handle queries effectively

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Experience using accounting systems such as Sage, Kerridge, or similar

AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
