We have exciting Trainee Marketing Executive opportunities in the eCommerce Marketing team at NEXT! Based from NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire.
About The RoleThe eCommerce Marketing team at NEXT, is made up of circa 100 marketing professionals across various disciplines. The roles available will be within the Paid Media team - a large team who work with partners such as Google, Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest & TikTok to buy advertising space showcasing the most relevant NEXT products to new and existing customers in the UK and overseas to encourage them to shop from our ecommerce sites.
As a Trainee Marketing Executive, you will master the art of Paid Media. Working with partners like Google, Meta, and TikTok, you'll gain hands‐on training in media buying, learn to transform data into actionable insights and collaborate with creative teams to deliver high‐impact global campaigns. These fast‐paced roles are perfect for a data‐savvy graduate or professional who is eager to launch a career with a leading retail brand.
What You'll Be Doing
Gain hands‐on support and training from our team of experts to become proficient in media buying platforms and understand the drivers of profitable spend.
Support internal stakeholders and creative teams in planning and delivering up‐to‐date campaign activity.
Act as a day‐to‐day touchpoint for our external media agencies and key partners.
Learn to use data sources to create and produce regular reports that provide actionable insights.
Track competitor activity across global markets to help us maintain a competitive advantage.
What You'll Bring
A recent graduate (for example: Marketing, Creative Media, or STEM) or someone with a year of professional experience and a clear passion for digital marketing.
A self‐starter who stays cool under pressure and thrives in a fast‐paced, ever‐changing environment.
Highly organised with a strong ability to take direction, manage your time and deliver tasks accurately.
An inquisitive learner with a genuine "thirst to learn" and a "can do" attitude toward team collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You possess a mix of creative flair and strong numerical literacy, with high attention to detail.
An intermediate to advanced user of Google Drive or Microsoft Office (Excel/Sheets).
