Delivery DriverLocation: ThatchamContract Type: PermanentHours: Full TimeHours: 35 hours per week including weekendsWe are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our large Garden Centre Group. The successful candidate will be expected to complete home deliveries so should be physically fit as this is a very hand on role and you will need to handle large and heavy loads.

Experience in retail is essential to the role as is good customer service.Delivery driver and site maintenance.

Also servicing regional centre needs as required & helping with day to day duties at the Garden Centre when not on the road site maintenance – weed spraying, hedge cutting, lawn mowing, etc

Over 25 Full clean driving license essential.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a full, clean driving licence.
• Be comfortable driving large vehicles.
• Be experienced in a retail environment.
• Have a friendly and positive attitude, providing a great customer experience at point of delivery.
• Be flexible as some weekend working will be required.
• Have good organisational skills.

Duties will include:

• Loading of customer orders on the van in a safe and timely manner ensuring products are wrapped and secured efficiently.
• Planning of routes beforehand.
• Stock/fixture transfers between stores when required.
• Maintenance and due diligence check of delivery van.
• Other duties as required around the Centre.
• Customer Service
