We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Blue House Vets on a part-time basis.

Blue House Veterinary Centre is a long-established, single-site small animal practice based in Biddulph, Staffordshire. We pride ourselves on delivering high standards of clinical care and maintaining a strong reputation within the local community. Our friendly, close-knit team creates a welcoming and supportive environment where collaboration and positivity are at the heart of everything we do.

Our team consists of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurse, 5 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. How You'll Make a DifferenceAs a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You'll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This is a part-time role averaging 25 hours per week, typically across 2 full days and 1 half day. There is a 1 in 3 Saturday rota (8:00am-1:00pm), with no out-of-hours or on-call requirements, allowing for a strong work-life balance.

You will be involved in a range of general nursing duties including inpatient care, nurse consultations, and assisting in theatre and diagnostic procedures.

General responsibilities include:

Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload

Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing

Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery

Run nurse consultations and contribute to client education and preventative care
