Learning Support Assistant - Ad-Hoc SupplyRole: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: PE19, St Neots

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Ad-hoc / Flexible Supply

Rate: 95 - 110 daily

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for flexible, ad-hoc work in a welcoming primary school environment?

Aspire People are working with a school in the St Neots area who are seeking reliable and adaptable LSAs to provide support on an ad‐hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can integrate quickly into new environments, and is confident supporting pupils across the primary age range.

The RoleAs an LSA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities include:

Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons

Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional guidance

Leading and assisting with small group interventions

Supporting pupils with general classroom learning and targeted intervention work

Supervising pupils during break times and in the lunch hall

Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

Has proven experience working within a UK primary school setting

Is confident supporting pupils with a range of learning needs

Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills

Is flexible, proactive, and able to adapt at short notice

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to maintain flexibility while continuing to make a positive impact in schools.
