Package Description Be part of something meaningful. Earn up to £15.50 per hour (£14.50 unqualified) in our first children's home, opening March 2026, fully registered with OFSTED as of 5th March, and help shape an expanding not-for-profit service supporting children with complex emotional, behavioural, and learning needs. Our newly furnished home near Wimborne will support two children, with a second home for three children opening shortly after. You will:Build trusting, positive relationships with children and young peopleSupport daily routines – from school runs and mealtimes to play and bedtimeHelp children learn life skills and build their independenceWork as part of a team to ensure children feel safe, secure, and cared forSupport with care plans, routines, and risk assessments (with training)Handle challenging behaviour calmly and with empathy, using a therapeutic approachTake part in fun, active days – every day is different!Be part of the sleep-in rota, (flexibility is essential)About You We're looking for people who are caring, reliable, and motivated to make a difference. You don't need experience—though if you have it, even better, and it will be reflected in a higher rate of pay. Full training and ongoing support are provided. You will:Have a genuine interest in supporting children with complex needsBe patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligentBe able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-insBe able to meet the role's practical and emotional demandsHave a positive attitude and a team-player mindsetHold or be committed to completing NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Residential ChildcareHold a driving licence (dual registered home across 2 sites in Wimborne) so travel to both homes may be required.About Agincare Agincare is proudly celebrating 40 years of caring for communities.
