Many of the children require tailored communication support and benefit from sensory-based learning approaches.You may support pupils with:Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)Sensory impairments, including visual and hearing needsNon-verbal communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, AAC, and sensory cuesWorking closely with teachers, therapists, and care staff, you will help pupils engage with learning through structured routines, sensory experiences, and personalised support-ensuring every child feels safe, understood, and valued.Key DetailsSEN Teaching AssistantLocation: CheltenhamPay: £90-£100 per dayFull-time (8:30am-3:15pm)ASAPSpecialist SchoolDBS: Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)About YouWe are seeking someone who:Has experience supporting individuals with PMLD, SLD, or complex needs (in education, care, or health settings)Demonstrates a calm, nurturing, and empathetic approachIs confident supporting personal care and physical needsHas a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive educationHolds relevant SEN qualifications or school-based experience (desirable, but not essential)This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real and lasting impact in a child's life, working within a supportive team that values your skills and dedication.
