Graduate Regeneration Officer GMCA Place Graduate ProgrammeSalary: £30,024. Hours: 36.25 per week. Contract: 2 Years. Location: Based at Salford City Council, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA (occasionally working from Tootle Building, Manchester City Centre). Closing on 2nd April 2026 at 23:59pm. Interviews likely to take place: May 2026.

About the RoleThe Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is a statutory body consisting of the ten local authorities of Greater Manchester and a directly elected Mayor. It has wide-ranging economic development, regeneration and transport functions and an ambitious agenda to make Greater Manchester a better place in which to grow up, live, work and invest. The Place Graduate Programme provides a unique development opportunity for a graduate wishing to pursue a career with a dynamic, exciting and socially responsible employer. A graduate appointment is being sought to support the Salford Districts. Supporting the Salford District, and their Place Based Directorship, the programme is seeking a graduate who will make a positive impact in roles associated with Planning and Development Surveying, Regeneration, Economic Development, Building Control, Environmental Health, Housing and Housing Strategy, Climate Change, Delivery and Planning policy.
