As a Retail Assistant at Hereford County Hospital, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the daily experiences of patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Compliance: Prepare and store food items in line with Hospital and Sodexo standards, ensuring quality and safety.

Stock Management: Receive deliveries, manage inventory, and implement stock rotation to minimize waste.

Safety & Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to hygiene and uniform guidelines.

Customer Engagement: Provide outstanding service, promote our brands, and suggest additional products to enhance the customer experience.

Transaction Handling: Operate tills accurately, manage revenue, and keep precise records.

Continuous Development: Participate in training sessions and performance reviews to foster personal growth.

Qualifications

Experience: Background in food service within a fast-paced setting.

Certifications: Level 2 Food Safety certification is preferred.

Skills: Strong communication abilities, effective time management, and organisational skills.

Attitude: A proactive approach to learning, self‐motivation, and a collaborative spirit.
