ABOUT THE ROLEThe role of Treasury/Accounts Assistant is essential to assist the Treasury Manager with operational management, including but not limited to Banking, Credit Cards, Petty Cash and Direct Debits.

This will involve performing a wide range of duties and responsibilities governed by established policies and procedures.

A part-time (15 hours P/W initially with the possibility of increased hours in future).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting the Treasury function including production of financial data, and the reconciliation of bank and loan accounts

Assist the Treasury Manager with the posting of petty cash for all entities

Assist with management of service user funds

Assisting in daily cash management

Consulting with the Treasury Manager in relation to financial service provision across the organisation

Supporting the Treasury Manager with the month end process where necessary

Ad hoc finance and admin works essential to the role

KEY SKILLS

Have experience in an accounts role with a firm understanding of the finance process and accounting principles

Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and Sage 50

ADP software experience desirable but not essential

Diligence, accuracy, and attention to detail essential

Excellent communication skills essential

Be hardworking, approachable, and adaptable

Be confident in using their own initiative

Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team and prioritise work

Excellent time management and organisational ability

Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
