Learning Support Assistant (LSA) ASD Nailsea £95£110 per day Learning Support Assistant | LSA | ASD | SEN | ABA | PECS | Makaton | Nailsea | North Somerset | £95£110 per dayA supportive and inclusive school in Nailsea, North Somerset is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils with Autism (ASD) .This is a full-time role starting ASAP and would suit someone with experience working in SEN, particularly supporting children with additional communication and behavioural needs.The Role ASD Learning Support Assistant Full-time LSA position

Supporting pupils with Autism (ASD)

1:1 and small group support

Implementing EHCP targets and individual support plans

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Experience or knowledge of the following is highly desirable:ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis)

PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)

Makaton

Structured behaviour support strategies

Communication-led interventions

Previous experience supporting children with ASD

Calm, patient and consistent approach

Strong communication skills

Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

This role would suit experienced LSAs, SEN specialists, psychology graduates, or candidates with a background in care or behavioural support.

Salary £95 £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Opportunity for a permanent position

Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
