Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Glasgow to work with our client, who provide waste management services.

We are recruiting Class 2 drivers who ideally have tipper experience.

Career Growth: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks

Role & Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating a Class 2 tipper vehicle
• Collections & deliveries as required
• Planning routes efficiently to maximise productivity
• Delivering a professional service at collection points
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Completing digital paperwork via tablet systems
• Working in line with WTD, drivers' hours and waste duty of care

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following safety procedures.

About you:You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. Previous experience driving and operating a tipper is essential. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
