Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: Up to £27,000 + Bonus Scheme

Hours: Full Time (Two‐week rota) – no weekends

Requirement: Must drive - full UK driving licence essential

The OpportunityA young, fast‐growing retailer of home and industrial storage solutions near Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Customer Service Executive to join their friendly, supportive team. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a calm, positive approach to customer interactions.

Key Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication

Previous customer service experience within an online retailer

Used to dealing with couriers, damages and delays

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident, patient, and professional

Computer literate

Able to work independently and within a team

Ideally located within 10-15 miles of Writtle

Must hold a full UK driving licence

Role Responsibilities

Deliver high‐quality customer service via phone, email, and live chat

Advise customers on storage solutions for home and business

Process telephone orders accurately

Resolve delivery issues and handle complaints tactfully

Manage general administrative tasks

Build and maintain strong product knowledge

Working HoursTwo‐week rotating schedule:

Monday: 7:30 am‐5 pm or 8 am‐5:30 pm

Tuesday‐Thursday: 8 am‐5 pm or 8:30 am‐5:30 pm

Friday: 8 am‐4:30 pm (No weekends)
