Dalgety Bay Care Home is a luxury, purpose built care home located in the beautiful coastal town of Fife. We provide personalised Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 68 residents in a warm, safe and welcoming environment.

Care Assistant – Days or Nights

£12.70 per hour Day Shift

£13.20 per hour Night Shift

Full time, part time and bank contracts available

Paid PVG, Pension scheme, Uniform provided, Onsite parking

5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

£500 welcome bonus payable after successfully passing 6 month probation

The RoleAs a Care Assistant, you will deliver high quality, person centred care that supports residents to live with dignity, comfort and independence. You will assist with personal care, mobility, repositioning, nutrition and hydration, and support residents with daily routines and social engagement.

You will follow individual care plans carefully, report any changes in wellbeing promptly, and work closely with colleagues to maintain safe practice and infection control standards. Whether working days, twilight or nights, your role is central to creating a positive, supportive and homely environment for residents.

We welcome both experienced Care Assistants and those new to care. If you are reliable, compassionate and willing to learn, full training and ongoing support will be provided.

What We Are Looking For

A genuine passion for supporting older people

Good communication skills and a team focused attitude

Reliable and organised approach

Previous care experience welcomed but not essential

SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care desirable but not required
