Junior Electrical Engineer - Building Services ConsultancyLondon (Hybrid)

I'm working with a well-regarded, design-led building services consultancy that's looking to hire a Junior Electrical Engineer to support a growing pipeline of projects.

This opportunity is ideal for someone at the early stage of their career who has already gained hands-on experience working within a building services consultancy and is now looking to take the next step in a more design-focused environment.

The CompanyThis is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy known for its work in building services, sustainability, and low-energy design .

They operate across sectors including commercial, residential, education and science & technology, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-performance, environmentally conscious buildings .

You'll be joining a collaborative, close-knit team where junior engineers are given real responsibility and exposure from an early stage.

The RoleYou'll be supporting the delivery of electrical designs across a range of projects, working closely with senior engineers and the wider design team.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in the design of electrical systems including lighting and power

Producing drawings, calculations, and technical specifications

Supporting projects from concept through to completion

Attending coordination meetings with clients, architects, and other consultants

Undertaking site visits and surveys

Contributing to sustainable design solutions

What They're Looking For

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or similar

Experience within a building services consultancy (post-graduation)

Experience contributing to live project work

Understanding of electrical design within the built environment

Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit (beneficial)

Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
