Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.West London / Berkshire / OxfordshireSalary: Competitive (DOE)An established and growing M&E contractor is seeking a Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding West Region , covering areas including West London, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire .This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' Quantity Surveying experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within the mechanical and electrical sector .Role OverviewYou will support the commercial delivery of commercial fit-out projects , working on schemes with M&E values ranging from £3m-£15m . The role offers hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle, with structured support and training.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the commercial management of M&E packages from pre-construction through to final accountSupport with procurement of subcontractors and suppliersAssist in preparing valuations, variations, and cost reportsHelp monitor project costs, budgets, and forecastsWork closely with project and site teams to track progress and commercial performanceSupport the management of subcontractor accounts and paymentsAssist in identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesExperience & Requirements1-2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying roleInterest in developing a career within the M&E / Building Services sectorBasic understanding of construction commercial processesDegree or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred)Development & SupportYou will work closely with an experienced Commercial Manager , receiving full support, mentorship, and training to help you progress your career within the M&E sector.SkillsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnGood communication and organisational skillsProactive and motivated attitudeBasic IT skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelOpportunityThis is a great opportunity to join an established contractor within a growing regional team , offering clear career progression and long-term development within a supportive environment.
