We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Female Complex Care Assistant to join our team supporting a young client in Portland. The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and caring nature, with a genuine passion for helping others live comfortably and confidently at home.

Main duties of the jobThe Complex Care Assistant will be responsible for assisting with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and attending appointments. They will provide full-day support, offering both emotional and physical assistance, and connect with people in a professional, empathetic, and person-centred way.

Your role

Assisting with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and attending appointments

Providing full-day support, offering both emotional and physical assistance

Key responsibilities

Paediatric experience desirable

Complex care experience essential

Administer basic life support for paediatrics

Oxygen therapy

Enteral feeding

Nebulizer

Oral suctioning

Administer medication safely

Handle situations involving unwell children, including potential resuscitation if necessary

Qualifications

Paediatric experience is desirable, and complex care experience is essential. The candidate must be able to administer basic life support for paediatrics, provide oxygen therapy, enteral feeding, nebulizer, oral suctioning, and safely administer medication. They must also be able to handle situations involving unwell children, including potential resuscitation if necessary.
