OverviewWe are looking for a caring and devoted Care Assistant to give people in their own homes high‐quality care in Epping, Chingford, Waltham Forest, and Redbridge.

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal care duties such as washing, dressing, and grooming.

Assist clients with moving and daily tasks, encouraging independence.

Follow personalised care plans to meet each person's needs.

Provide emotional support and companionship.

Assist with household chores such as light cleaning and cooking.

Maintain accurate records of care and any changes in the client's condition.

Communicate clearly with clients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.

Transport clients to appointments or activities as needed (driver's license is a plus).

Qualifications & Skills

Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Ability to use IT systems to store records and communicate.

Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple care procedures.

Kind, compassionate, and dedicated to helping others.

Reliable, punctual, and professional conduct.

Prior experience in a care home or as a home care worker is advantageous but not required.

Knowledge of care plans and flexibility to adjust support as needed.

Driving skills are a plus for transporting clients.
