Overview Strategy Analyst Intern – Nottingham. Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.Salary: £50,000 (per annum) plus a £1,000 joining bonus and other benefitsLocation: NottinghamStart date: 29th June 2026 for 10 weeks (dates are fixed)Eligibility: Open to any penultimate year university students (This includes undergraduates, masters and PhD students)Sponsorship: We are open to those currently on student visas, as long as you can work unrestricted for the duration of the internshipClosing date: 27th March 2026 (subject to close early)As we recruit on a rolling basis, we recommend applying as soon as you canTen weeks to discover what our business is about. What you'll do At Capital One, we're on a mission to change credit – one good thing at a time. We are a technology business that makes a positive difference for customers, colleagues and the community. Our Strategy teams drive the business forward and solve problems with customers in mind. On this ten-week programme, you'll be based within one of our core Strategy teams and will own a real life business project from Day 1. You could be:Finding innovative ways to attract new customers and ensure products meet their needsProviding support and tools to help customers manage their finances and protect them from fraudCreating marketing strategies that get the right messages across in the right placesStriking the right balance in lending and risk to the businessKey to this work is insightful data analysis and critical judgment. You will be trained and developed on coding and analytical tools to dig deep into datasets. You will help identify new ways to improve aspects of our work and put forward suggestions by the end of your internship. You will receive great training and support from the team to ensure you have the tools required for success.Capital One is an inspiring place to launch your career. Where and how you'll work This is a 10-week fixed-term position based at our Nottingham office with a hybrid model: you'll be in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and have flexibility to work from home.We're open to arrangements that suit you and encourage collaboration and connection.
