Duke of London, founded in 2015 by Merlin McCormack, is a family‐run hub in Brentford, West London, specialising in classic and supercars. We host unique events, including our monthly 'Classics & Cake' car meet, which supports Cocoon Care after Care, a local charity.Home to The Brewery Tap Pub and Plonkers Wine Bar, we have created a vibrant community hub that brings people together. Located near Printmakers Yard, we are at the heart of a dynamic and growing 'The Brentford Project' in West London.We've been teasing it for a while but with our new space finally launching to the public this May , we're in need of some fun, passionate, enthusiastic people and all‐round good eggs to join our Duke hospitality team.The new Plonkers Wine BarOur new venue here in Brentford will be playing host to a brand new Plonkers bar - wine bar, cocktail lounge and listening bar - on a south‐facing, waterfront mezzanine.We're also opening Plonkers Parlour, a hidden cocktail bar and intimate, hirable event space, as well as a rooftop bar and dining spot, and a daily coffee shop. In addition to this we'll actually have 5 separate hirable event spaces throughout the site...Therefore - we need help! We need a team who can help us deliver excellent customer service for our clients, guests & partners, and ensure that everyone who walks through our lovely new doors has a great and memorable time.First up, we're looking for a talented, full‐time head barista to take ownership of the day to day running of our in‐house coffee shop, and to act as front of house for our visiting clients and partners.This will require someone with great interpersonal skills, strong initiative, confidence in decision making and who takes pride in their craft.We're also looking for experienced bar management , to oversee the daily bar operation and assist in the execution of our on‐site events. This role(s) will require a strong customer facing presence, ensuring standards are maintained, making sure the customer service/experience remains consistent and leading a team through busy service periods.We also need lead bar staff (particularly cocktail pros), as well as general bar, events, and customer service staff . This tribe will be provided with training across our different outlets, ensuring confidence and competency in barista service, wine service, cocktail service and event work.We're keen to not be too rigid with the roles we're advertising, as we are willing to adapt and mould roles to the right people.If you're great with people, love making sure guests have a great time, and you know how to make an experience memorable - for all the right reasons - please get in touch.Know your flat whites from your cortados?
