Full-time Motor Mechanic Lecturer/Tutor – Temporary to permanent role starting April 2026 This further education setting provides a supportive, well‐organised, and inclusive learning environment where learners benefit from clear expectations, practical teaching, and staff who are committed to helping them progress. Learners respond well to structured, hands‐on sessions that build independence, employability, and steady academic development.Duties as Motor Mechanic Lecturer/Tutor: Deliver entry‐level to Level 1 Motor Mechanics teaching on a full‐time basisProvide practical, low‐level instruction suitable for learners new to the subjectAdapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needsSupport learners with hands‐on mechanical skills, workshop safety, and basic diagnosticsReinforce key employability skills and vocational knowledgeAssess learner understanding and provide verbal feedbackCollaborate with colleagues to support consistent vocational deliveryUphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise learner welfareIdeal Motor Mechanic Lecturer/Tutor: QTS is not requiredStrong background or industry experience in Motor MechanicsConfident delivering practical instruction at beginner levelsGood communication and organisation skillsAble to motivate and support learners with varying levels of confidence and abilityPatient, practical, and proactive in workshop environmentsReliable, safety‐minded, and committed to learner developmentDedicated to safeguarding and promoting learner well‐being
