OverviewJob Title: Bin Lorry Driver (Refuse Collection Driver)

Location: Cumbernauld

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 AM start

Job DescriptionApex Resources Limited are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Bin Lorry Driver to join our refuse collection team based in Cumbernauld. This role involves driving a refuse collection vehicle and working as part of a team to ensure waste is collected safely and efficiently across local residential and commercial areas.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a refuse collection (bin lorry) vehicle on designated routes

Work alongside the waste collection crew to complete daily rounds

Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues

Provide professional and courteous service to the public

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous experience driving refuse vehicles is preferred but not essential

Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations

Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning starts

Good teamwork and communication skills
