Job description
Role Purpose
Ensure all construction activities meet the highest quality standards by working closely with the project team and client throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage all QA/QC documentation (tests, inspections, certifications, reports)
- Set and maintain inspection and testing standards across all processes
- Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality requirements
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams on material quality
- Oversee inspection and testing schedules and conduct quality audits
- Support training to ensure compliance with quality procedures
- Monitor handling, storage, and lifting processes, including hazardous materials
- Analyse non-conformances and prepare performance reports
- Implement systems to monitor and improve quality across all activities
- Recommend corrective actions where needed
- Collaborate with H&S teams on risk assessments and method statements
- Develop Inspection Test Plans and checklists
- Liaise with client teams on audits, inspections, and material approvals
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ construction/engineering experience ideally in Civil/CSA quality
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Proficient IT skills
- Knowledge of building and quality regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
