As Assistant Concession Manager, you will play a key leadership role within a prestigious department store environment. Supporting the Concession Manager, you will drive commercial performance, champion client development, and ensure the seamless day-to-day running of the menswear space. You will act as a role model on the shop floor, inspiring the team to deliver excellence across every touchpoint.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Performance

· Support the execution of sales strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets.

· Drive performance through close monitoring of KPIs, identifying opportunities to maximise productivity and client engagement.

· Lead from the front on the shop floor, demonstrating strong selling techniques and elevating team performance through example.

· Contribute to business growth through proactive client outreach, appointment setting, and repeat business development.


Client Experience & Clienteling

· Deliver an exceptional and highly personalised client journey, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s luxury positioning.

· Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of high-value clients, with a focus on long-term relationship building and retention.

· Support the team in cultivating VIP and top-tier clientele through consistent follow-up and tailored experiences.

· Handle client concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring a seamless resolution at all times.


Team Leadership & Development

· Support the Concession Manager in leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team.

· Conduct daily briefings, set clear expectations, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.

· Coach and mentor team members to strengthen product knowledge, styling ability, and client engagement skills.

· Assist in identifying talent and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development.


Operations & Retail Excellence

· Ensure smooth operational execution across all areas including stock management, replenishment, and back-of-house organisation.

· Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and presentation in line with brand guidelines.

· Monitor stock levels and support inventory processes to optimise availability and minimise loss.

· Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, including security, cash handling, and store policies.


Brand Representation

· Act as a true ambassador for the brand, embodying its values, aesthetic, and commitment to excellence.

· Stay informed on menswear trends, product collections, and competitor activity to enhance client conversations.

· Represent the brand at in-store events and client activations when required.


Profile

· Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within luxury or premium retail.

· Strong understanding of menswear, including tailoring, ready-to-wear, and accessories.

· Proven ability to drive sales performance and build a loyal client base.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to influence and inspire.

· Commercially aware, highly organised, and confident in a fast-paced retail environment.

· A passion for luxury fashion, craftsmanship, and client experience.

· Additional language skills are advantageous.
