Summary

We’re looking for an experienced account management or client services professional to take ownership of client delivery for our production clients.


Working closely with Production, Operations, and Sales, your role is to ensure client work is clearly defined, well coordinated, and delivered to a high standard. You’ll act as the main point of contact for clients, leading conversations, keeping projects on track, and ensuring nothing is missed.


This role sits at the centre of client delivery. You’ll manage a portfolio of client accounts and play a key role in shaping how account management works as we grow, bringing structure, consistency, and clarity to how we run client work.


You’ll take ownership of delivery, ensuring projects run smoothly and clients feel confident in the outcome.


  • Reporting: COO
  • Location: Manchester, UK - hybrid (commutable for office days).
  • Salary: £38,000–£42,000yr, based on experience
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent.
  • Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


Role Overview ‍♀

You’ll own a portfolio of production clients from kick off through to delivery and renewal.


  • Client Leadership: Lead meetings, set direction, and act as the main point of contact
  • Delivery Coordination: Align clients and internal teams to keep work moving
  • Issue Management: Handle challenges and keep projects on track
  • Process Development: Improve how account management works as the team grows
  • Renewals: Maintain strong relationships and support ongoing client work


Responsibilities 

You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring delivery runs smoothly from start to finish.


Plan:

  • Define client goals and translate them into clear delivery plans
  • Align expectations across clients, production, and internal teams

Execute:

  • Lead client meetings and manage ongoing communication
  • Coordinate timelines, approvals, and feedback
  • Ensure work is delivered to a high standard and aligned with client expectations

Manage:

  • Identify and resolve risks around scope, timelines, or resourcing
  • Handle client issues or escalations through to resolution
  • Maintain visibility across projects and ensure nothing goes quiet

Improve:

  • Contribute to improving account management processes and ways of working
  • Bring structure through consistent use of tools, tracking, and documentation


Requirements 

Working primarily on the Cue brand, you’ll need a structured approach to managing client relationships and delivery, along with the confidence to lead conversations and keep work on track.


Essential:

  • Proven Experience: A background in account management or client services, with clear ownership of client relationships and delivery across multiple projects.
  • Client Leadership: Confident leading client conversations and meetings, able to set direction and maintain confidence throughout delivery.
  • Delivery Focus: Strong understanding of how to manage projects from planning through to delivery, working closely with internal teams.
  • Organisation & Ownership: Able to manage multiple projects at once, maintain visibility, and follow things through without needing to be chased.
  • Judgement & Problem Solving: Comfortable handling challenges, knowing when to push, reassure, or escalate to keep work moving.
  • Process Awareness: Experience contributing to or improving ways of working, bringing structure and consistency to how client work is managed.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of client retention, renewals, and maintaining long-term relationships, without being sales-led.


Desirable:

  • Agency Background: Experience working in a creative or agency environment.
  • Production Awareness: Understanding of content production workflows (audio, video, or similar).
  • Tools & Systems: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. ClickUp) and collaborative environments (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack).
  • Complex Accounts: Experience working with larger or more complex client accounts.

Location 

The role is UK-based, but we’re ideally looking for someone within a reasonable commuting distance of Manchester city centre. The role includes regular in-person collaboration, so being able to travel to the office without difficulty is important.

The office is easily accessible from both Manchester Victoria (5 min walk) and Piccadilly (15 min walk) stations.
