You will act as the dedicated H&S presence on site, working closely with site management, project leadership and the wider delivery team to maintain standards, monitor compliance, and support safe project execution across an active earthworks environment.
This role will suit someone who is comfortable in a site-based construction or civil engineering setting, can build credibility with operational teams, and is confident balancing compliance, audit readiness and practical problem-solving on a live project.

- Liaise with site management, supervisors and the Safety Director
- Provide practical H&S guidance within a fast-moving earthworks and industrial build environment
- Support client-facing safety matters where required
- Assist with audit, compliance and CDM-related activities
- Help maintain standards throughout the full programme
Requirements
- Previous experience in a site-based Health and Safety Advisor or similar H&S role

- Experience supporting safety on live projects
- Good working knowledge of CDM

Desirable / Nice-to-Have Background
- Experience on groundworks, bulk earthworks, remediation, civils or infrastructure-led projects
- Background on industrial, commercial build or large-scale site development schemes
- Experience with contractor management, inspections, audits and compliance reporting
- Comfortable dealing with both internal teams and client representatives on site
- Experience reporting into senior H&S leadership or regional/group safety functions
