Job Title: Site Fitters & Installers (Architectural Steelwork)

Location: UK Wide (Working Away Required)

Salary: Hourly Rate Negotiable (DOE) + Overtime + Allowances

Overview

Our client, a well-established specialist in architectural and secondary steelwork, is seeking experienced Site Fitters & Installers to support ongoing projects across the UK. They deliver high-quality installation services on construction sites nationwide and are looking for reliable, skilled individuals who can work effectively as part of a small team and maintain high standards on-site.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced steelwork installers who are comfortable working away from home and have a strong background in site-based fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of architectural and secondary steelwork on construction sites
• Fitting and erecting:
• Balustrades
• Balconies & glass balconies
• Handrails
• Canopies
• Glass partitions
• Secondary steelwork
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Collaborating effectively within a small team (typically 2-person teams)

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience installing architectural steelwork and metalwork
• Ability to TIG and MIG weld
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• CSCS card essential
• Full UK driving license required
• Additional certifications (e.g. IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS) advantageous
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to communicate effectively on-site
• Willingness to work away from home depending on project location
