AWS Data Engineer | London (Once a month onsite) | £65,000-£80,000


Peaple Talent have partnered with a fast-growing, award-winning SaaS organisation operating in the secure payments and customer engagement space.


Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for an AWS Data Engineer to take ownership of their data platform and help scale it into a best-in-class, business-critical function.


The Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll enhance and evolve an AWS-based data ecosystem, supporting analytics and reporting across teams including Product, Finance, and Operations.


You’ll play a key role in improving data quality, scalability, and cost efficiency, while helping shape best practices and technical direction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Improve and optimise existing data infrastructure (performance, cost, best practice)
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and visualisations using AWS services
  • Develop ETL processes and automation using Python
  • Write and optimise SQL queries
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions


Key Requirements

  • Strong AWS experience (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, DynamoDB)
  • Python and SQL expertise
  • Knowledge of ETL and data pipeline design
  • Familiarity with GitLab and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
