Full stack Software Developer (.NET) – Onsite/Hybrid – Lancaster

Your day to day will consist of:


  • Designing and developing end-to-end features across frontend and backend
  • Building and maintaining scalable web applications using modern .NET technologies
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate real-world requirements into technical solutions
  • Take ownership of system architecture and technical decisions
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs
  • Ensure applications are secure, performant, and highly reliable
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit + integration testing)
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards, processes, and tooling
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Support ongoing product evolution by suggesting new features and improvements


Requirements


  • 4+ years’ experience in software development
  • Strong experience with C# / .NET
  • Solid understanding of ASP.NET MVC
  • Frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript / React)
  • Experience with APIs, Entity Framework, and database design
  • Strong grasp of OOP, clean code, and software design principles
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Someone comfortable working independently and taking ownership


Desirables


  • Exposure to Azure / cloud-based systems
  • Experience with SQL Server, IIS, or Windows environments
  • Background working on regulated or data-sensitive systems


Working Setup


Initial onboarding is office-based for training and then moving 3 days onsite and 2 days working remotely
