Production Technician

Trinity Resource Solutions is looking for a Production Technician

Job description

Are you a hands-on electronics technician who takes real pride in the quality of your work? Do you thrive in a precision environment where attention to detail and technical skill genuinely matter? If so, read on.

We're working with a specialist technology business based in Chertsey to find a Production Technician to join their growing operations team. This is a site-based, Monday to Friday role working on the assembly and manufacture of bespoke, high-specification products — the kind of work where your skills are genuinely valued and where no two days are exactly the same.

Important: This role requires the successful candidate to hold or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Applicants must be UK nationals.

What you'll be doing:

→ Electronic and mechanical assembly of bespoke equipment, from development through to ongoing product support

→ PCB assembly and repair, including surface mount technology (SMT) work

→ Soldering to IPC-A-610 standards — wire-to-wire, wire-to-terminal, and wire-to-bucket

→ Reading and working from schematic drawings, circuit diagrams, wiring schedules and cable drawings

→ Crimping, loom forming, and small wire work to tight tolerances

→ Inspecting components and subassemblies against quality standards and technical specifications

→ Kitting parts and equipment, ensuring all materials meet the required specification

→ Supporting continuous improvement activity and maintaining a safe, clean working environment

→ Flexible support across the operations team as required — including goods inwards, stock movement and customer liaison

What we're looking for:

✔ Proven experience in electronic and mechanical assembly

✔ Strong PCB repair skills, including SMT experience

✔ Confident reading and interpreting schematic drawings, circuit diagrams and cable drawings

✔ Competent in soldering and crimping, with experience working with small wire gauges

✔ Working knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards

✔ Able to work independently with minimal supervision

✔ Strong mechanical aptitude with a good eye for detail

✔ Comfortable using hand tools, test equipment, and Office 365

✔ Minimum 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) — ideally Maths and English

✔ An enthusiastic, self-motivated approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist business working on technically interesting, meaningful products in a collaborative and developing team environment.
