Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Location: London Onsite 4x + 1x day remote (with travel predominantly UK + EU)

A well-funded, high-growth deep-tech company is building advanced software and AI systems to support next-generation autonomous and data-driven operations. The team is focused on solving complex, real-world challenges by integrating software with sensors, robotics, and distributed systems.

The Role

As a Deployed Software Engineer, you will work directly with end users to implement and adapt cutting-edge technology in real operational environments.

This is a hands-on, field-facing role combining software engineering with problem-solving in dynamic settings. You will bridge the gap between product and real-world use, ensuring solutions deliver meaningful impact.

Requirements: Strong programming skills in either:

• Backend: Python, C++, Java, Rust
• OR frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Angular, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with users
• Willingness to travel
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to undergo UK security clearance (SC level or above)
