JOB TITLE: Control Systems Engineer

LOCATION: West Midlands

SALARY: £60–70k+ (depending on experience)

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a well-established and growing automation business delivering cutting-edge industrial solutions across multiple sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from design through to commissioning, with flexibility built into the role including hybrid / remote working.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and developing control systems for industrial automation projects
• Programming PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley and other platforms)
• Interfacing with 3rd party devices using Fieldbus communication protocols
• Supporting testing, commissioning, and installation activities
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Collaborating with wider engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a Control Systems Engineer role
• Strong PLC programming skills (Siemens and/or Allen Bradley preferred)
• Experience with Fieldbus communications and system integration
• Solid understanding of automation and control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Willingness to travel for site-based work when required
