Our client is an established structural engineering consultancy based in Manchester, delivering high-quality structural solutions across commercial and industrial sectors. The Role

We are working exclusively with our client to recruit a Graduate or Junior Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop their technical skills within a busy, project-driven structural engineering environment.

You will work closely alongside experienced structural engineers and senior technicians, contributing to the production of structural drawings and Revit models across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial projects. Full support and mentorship will be provided to help you grow within the role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of structural drawings and BIM models using Autodesk Revit
  • Support structural engineers with technical deliverables across commercial and industrial projects
  • Contribute to BIM coordination and drawing production to programme and quality requirements
  • Develop your understanding of UK structural codes and design standards under senior guidance
  • Maintain drawing registers, model files, and project documentation


What We're Looking For

  • BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering — 2:1 or above preferred
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduation experience in a structural engineering environment
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit — structural experience preferred but architectural considered
  • Exposure to commercial or industrial structural projects — placement year experience counts
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Knowledge of UK structural codes (BS/Eurocode) advantageous
  • Right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available


Compensation & Benefits

  • £30,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience

Interview Process

Two-stage interview process — an initial interview (face-to-face preferred) followed by a second face-to-face interview. Decisions made quickly for the right candidate. Mid April start date targeted.
