A highly regarded, specialist engineering business that design and manufactures bespoke, high-performance mobility products for a global client base is looking to add to their design team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit engineering team working on low-volume, high value products, where attention to detail, craftsmanship and engineering excellence are key.

The Opportunity

You'll be involved in the design and development of complex components, contributing to both functional performance and visual identity.

The role offers full exposure from concept through to prototype and production, working closely with engineers, technicians and suppliers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing mechanical components including user interfaces, structural parts and bespoke assemblies
• Developing concepts into detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings
• Balancing aesthetics, usability and engineering performance
• Working closely with manufacturing teams to deliver production-ready designs
• Supporting prototyping through 3D printing, mock-ups and iterative development

What They're Looking For

• 3+ years' experience in product design, mechanical design or precision engineering
• Strong CAD skills (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar)
• Experience designing for CNC machining, fabrication or composite manufacture
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes and high-quality product design
