Surveyor

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Surveyor to join a high-profile industrial project on a contract of up to 10 months. This is a fully site-based position, working in two-person survey teams under the guidance of a Lead Surveyor.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conducting high-accuracy traversing and levelling across the site
• Performing total station observations using Leica equipment
• Capturing and processing SLAM data with NavVis VLX systems
• Preparing detailed site records and shift reports
• Operating safely within a live industrial environment
• Supporting the delivery of a large-scale project using advanced geospatial technologies

Who We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years’ practical surveying experience
• Strong knowledge of traditional survey techniques and total station use
• Relevant qualification in Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Valid CSCS card and full UK manual driving licence
• Ability to deploy daily across the Southampton/Portsmouth area
• Experience with NavVis VLX/MLX systems is a plus (training can be provided)
