Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description:

• Lead supplier quality assurance activities across a diverse supply chain, ensuring compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the key interface between suppliers and internal teams including Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Programmes.
• Manage supplier non-conformances, including containment, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions using structured methodologies (e.g. 8D, 5 Why).
• Conduct supplier audits, surveillance visits, and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain and develop the Approved Supplier List, including qualification and onboarding of new suppliers.

Essential:

• Proven experience in a Supplier Quality role within high precision industries: Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or other high-technology industries.
• Experience managing supplier non-conformances and driving corrective actions.
• Experience working with mechanical commodities (Machine, Plating, Welding, forming)
