Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Hybrid: Central Bristol Office 3 times per week.

£60-£75,000 + | 8-12% bonus | Pension contributions doubled 6% = 18%

The Headlines

You’ll be a senior contributor within the engineering team, responsible for building robust backend services and APIs while helping shape our infrastructure and engineering best practices. This is a hands‑on role with a strong emphasis on quality, performance, and maintainability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based backend services
• Building and evolving well-structured, secure, and scalable APIs
• Owning services through their full lifecycle: development, deployment, monitoring, and improvement
• Working closely with DevOps practices to improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and reliability
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technical direction
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing

Tech Stack: Python (Django FastAPI) & JS Front End AI Tooling Cursor, OpenAI Agents SDK contained by Docker, K8’s, Helm
