Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic Building Services team. Your role will involve:

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering electrical systems across a diverse mix of projects. These include but are not limited to lighting, power, LV distribution, containment, fire alarms, small power, etc.
• Assisting senior engineers in the full project lifecycle from concept and feasibility to detailed design stages.
• Conducting site surveys and attending client meetings.
• Preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
• Collaborating with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Contributing to team collaboration.
• Mentoring other junior engineers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or relevant subject.
• 3+ years of proven experience in electrical design within the building services sector.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and CIBSE guidelines.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Relux, Amtech/Trimble, etc.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Working towards chartership (CIBSE or IET) is desirable.
