Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits
 
An established and highly regarded property management company is seeking an experienced Residential Building Surveyor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of residential blocks within the M25, providing technical expertise and overseeing major works projects.
 
The Role
 
You will work closely with property management and finance teams to deliver a high standard of technical advice and ensure the successful planning and execution of major works across a residential portfolio. Developing and implementing CAPEX budgets and programmes.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Capex plans, advising clients on long-term maintenance and cost forecasts
• Prepare detailed specifications and schedules of major works
• Manage Section 20 consultation processes, including tendering
• Oversee and supervise major works on-site, approving works for payment
• Assist in the preparation of annual service charge budgets
• Conduct site inspections and identify required works
• Attend client and residents’ meetings to provide professional guidance

 
 
The Candidate
 

• Chartered status (ARICS/MRICS) preferred
• Strong experience in building surveying, ideally within residential block management
• Proven experience in project management, tendering, and Section 20 processes
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to present technical information clearly
• Proactive problem-solver with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
