We’re looking for a creative NPD Developer to join a leading food manufacturer in Northwich, during an exciting phase of growth.

This role is perfect for a development chef who enjoys developing new products and seeing their ideas reach supermarket shelves.

Working within our NPD team, you’ll help create innovative products, turning customer briefs and food trends into commercially successful recipes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new savoury pastry products as part of NPD and EPD projects
• Turn customer briefs and food trends into product concepts
• Create and refine recipes for quality, consistency and scalability
• Prepare samples for internal reviews and customer presentations
• Conduct taste panels for existing and competitor products
• Support product launches with teams across Technical, Operations and Commercial
• Assist with pack copy information, cooking instructions and shelf-life samples

About You

• Experience as product developer in food manufacturing
• Bakery experience is highly desirable
• Good understanding of food trends and flavour development
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
