A highly regarded, Child Panel accredited specialist firm based in Sheffield is looking to recruit an experienced Child Panel Accredited Solicitor to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of public law children matters under Legal Aid
  • Acting for children, parents, and other parties in care proceedings
  • Conducting advocacy where appropriate
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members where required
  • Ensuring compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements and professional standards
  • Working collaboratively within a specialist children law team


The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor with Children Panel Accreditation
  • Legal Aid Supervisor status is essential
  • Strong experience in public children law matters
  • Excellent client care and case management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment


Alternative Consideration

  • Candidates with local authority / local government experience who are willing to work towards Children Panel Accreditation will also be considered
