Manager, Commercial Supply Chain

Requisition Title: Manager, Commercial Supply Chain, UK

Role Duration: 6 months to start, potentially through the end of 2026.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manager to provide temporary support for local tactical UK projects. This role has been created to cover a gap due to a reorganisation and an increase in workload. The successful candidate will be expected to "hit the ground running" and maintain close alignment with UK and Europe contacts.

Key Details & Location

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday.
• On-Site Requirements: 70/30 Rule (70% on-site, 30% remote).
• Travel: Expected within the UK (Harwell and London) to assist one 3rd party (3PL).
• Reporting Line: Direct manager resides in Basel, Switzerland.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge of supply chain topics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the commercial team (who lack supply chain expertise).
• Proactive mindset with the ability to "hit the ground running."

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Exceptional understanding of the Pharma industry and supply chain needs is strongly preferred (Biotech experience is a plus).
• Open to a fast-learner with strong soft skills if industry-specific experience is limited.
• GxP Knowledge: Basic knowledge of cGxP's is required.
