Design Engineer – Automotive / Vehicle Conversion
GTS Group are looking for a Design Engineer who wants to work on real-world vehicles, not just CAD screens.
I’m working with a specialist automotive manufacturer designing and building bespoke vehicles for critical applications—and they’re hiring.
What you’ll do:
- Design vehicle components & assemblies (Inventor)
- Work closely with production (DFM / DFA focus)
- Improve existing products + develop new designs
- Get involved in real build + shop floor engineering
What you’ll need:
- Automotive/manufacturing design experience
- Strong 3D CAD (Inventor / SolidWorks ideal)
- Understanding of fabrication/sheet metal
