An established and forward-thinking legal practice is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team. This opportunity is suited to a solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE who is looking to take on a senior role within a collaborative and ambitious environment, with scope to support and guide junior colleagues.

The team works closely with the wider real estate department and handles a broad spectrum of complex and high-value matters.


The Role:

In this role, you will handle a broad range of property-related disputes and advisory matters, including:

  • Managing landlord and tenant issues across commercial portfolios, such as lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, and break options
  • Advising on property rights matters including easements, option agreements, and restrictive covenants
  • Supporting developer clients with site acquisition strategies and securing vacant possession
  • Handling matters relating to secured lending, including repossession cases
  • You will take ownership of a varied caseload while contributing to the continued development of client relationships
  • The position also involves mentoring junior lawyers and playing an active role in team supervision.
  • Essential Requirements:

    • 6+ PQE
    • Solid experience within a property litigation or real estate disputes team, ideally acting for commercial clients
    • Strong technical knowledge across a range of landlord and tenant matters
    • Confidence managing a busy and diverse caseload with minimal supervision
    • A proactive approach to client service and business development
    • The ability and interest to support and develop more junior team members
    • Commercially aware, organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a wider team.
