Senior Anti Money Laundering Analyst (Client Risk & Onboarding)

An international law firm is looking for a Senior Anti Money Laundering Analyst to join its client risk and onboarding function, a team that sits at the centre of every new client relationship.

This isn’t just compliance, It’s about making smart, risk-based decisions in real time, supporting lawyers on complex matters, and helping the firm move forward with confidence.

What you’ll be doing

Leading AML/CDD reviews across a wide range of client types and risk profiles

Investigating complex ownership structures, PEP exposure and high-risk jurisdictions

Advising lawyers on AML requirements, onboarding strategy and risk considerations

Supporting high-risk and sensitive matters, including potential escalation scenarios

Coaching junior analysts and contributing to overall team capability

Managing workflow to ensure deadlines and service levels are met

Supporting process improvements, guidance updates and regulatory alignment

Analysing sanctions alerts and identifying potential reputational risks


What we’re looking for

Experience in financial crime, AML or client onboarding within legal or professional services

Strong understanding of AML regulations and a risk-based approach

Confidence analysing complex information and making informed decisions

Ability to build credibility with stakeholders across all levels

Someone who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment

A team player who is equally comfortable mentoring others
