Industrial Disease Solicitor - 0–3 PQE – Military Claims – Cardiff – Up to £45,000 salary

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist team acting for Armed Forces personnel in complex and meaningful litigation against the Ministry of Defence. The department is highly regarded for its work in military injury claims, particularly in cases involving noise-induced hearing loss, tinnitus, and non-freezing cold injuries. The team handles a high volume of technically challenging matters, often involving detailed medical and expert evidence, while maintaining a strong client-focused approach for individuals who have suffered life-changing injuries.

The role will involve managing your own caseload of military claims, including military deafness and cold injury cases, from initial instruction through to resolution. You will take client enquiries, draft witness statements, manage disclosure, and prepare court documentation. You will also liaise with counsel and a range of experts, including medical professionals and acoustic or environmental specialists, while advising on liability and quantum. In addition, there will be opportunities to support and supervise junior team members, making this a well-rounded position with genuine development prospects.

The Candidate

• Solicitor with 0–3 years' post-qualification experience or equivalent
• Experience and interest in claimant litigation
• Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
