Project Manager aka Squad Manager - Software Development

Location: Glasgow Skypark (3 days in the office)

Salary: Up to 53K plus up to 10% company bonus

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)

The Mission

As a Squad Manager, you are at the heart of our digital delivery engine. You will act as the vital link between client vision and technical execution, orchestrating complex software solutions across multiple accounts with pace and precision.

What You’ll Be Doing

Multi-Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of concurrent digital projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.

Methodology Mastery: Expertly apply Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid approaches, adapting methodologies to suit specific project needs.

People Leadership: Act as a dedicated Line Manager responsible for the professional development, mentorship, and well-being of your squad.

Robust Documentation: Maintain clear project roadmaps, RAID logs, and delivery metrics to ensure transparency for leadership and clients.

Commercial Management: Monitor project health and resource allocation to ensure peak squad performance without burnout

Whom We’re Looking For

The Multi-Tasker: Proven experience managing multiple concurrent digital projects in a fast-paced consultancy or agency environment.

The Agile Expert: Deep knowledge of Agile ceremonies with the flexibility to pivot to Waterfall or Hybrid models when required.

The People Person: Prior experience in line management with the ability to motivate teams and handle difficult conversations (desirable)

The Communicator: Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

The Detail Maven: You take pride in project documentation and a well-maintained backlog.
