Head Bartender / Bar Manager for Luxury new opening in London.

PRS Recruitment are proud to be exclusively representing a prestigious luxury hospitality client launching an exciting new flagship opening from a world-renowned restaurant group, with strong ambitions to achieve Michelin-level recognition.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Head Bartender / Bar Manager to join immediately and play a pivotal role in shaping this exceptional new venue from the ground up.

The Role

• Position: Head Bartender / Bar Manager
• Availability: Immediate start
• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off

Package

• £42,000 base salary
• Tronc + cash tips
• Realistic total package: up to £50,000

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the bar operation to an exceptional standard
• Training, mentoring, and motivating a newly assembled team
• Handling supplier relationships, ordering, and stock control with precision
• Ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence in beverage delivery
• Supporting the wider opening team during the critical launch phase
• Maintaining high operational standards under pressure

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proven hospitality professional who thrives in high-end, fast-paced environments and understands the demands of a new opening.

You will need to be:

• From a strong high-end / luxury hospitality background
• Has a WSET Level 2 qualification
• Experienced in bar leadership or senior bartender roles
• Confident managing suppliers, ordering, and stock systems
• A natural leader who can train, inspire, and elevate a team
• Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused with a “can do” attitude
• Comfortable with the challenges and unpredictability of a new launch environment

Most importantly, you must be someone who embraces pressure, takes ownership, and leads by example from day one.
